The Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) program at Cambridge Institute of Technology North Campus (CIT-NC) is a four-year undergraduate degree that equips students with both theoretical knowledge and practical skills in computing. Dr. Anand Kumar serves as the Dean (Academics) at Cambridge Institute of Technology – North Campus, Bangalore. With over two decades of rich, blended experience in both industry and academia, Dr. Kumar is a distinguished academic leader committed to driving innovation, academic excellence, and institutional quality.

A passionate advocate for global standards in education, Dr. Kumar is deeply inspired by the benchmarks set by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET), USA — an internationally recognized body for quality assurance in applied sciences, computing, and engineering education. His vision is to align academic practices with world-class accreditation systems to deliver transformative educational experiences.

Dr. Kumar’s dedication to academic excellence is reflected in his prestigious NPTEL Star and NPTEL Advanced Faculty Domain certifications, which underscore his commitment to continuous learning and teaching effectiveness. He is also certified by the Ministry of MSME, Government of India, and is a Certified Internal Auditor for Integrated Management Systems.

He is a Senior Member of professional bodies such as IEEE, ACM, and CSI, and serves on several international advisory boards including the IEEE Technical Program Committee. A respected academician and researcher, Dr. Kumar is an external Ph.D. adjudicator for over ten reputed universities and actively supervises Ph.D. and postgraduate research scholars.

Dr. Anand Kumar holds three Master's degrees in Computer Science and Engineering and a Doctorate (Ph.D.) in the same field. His multifaceted expertise and commitment to quality education make him an invaluable pillar of academic leadership at the institution.
